**Who are we looking for?**

Mutual Vision (MV) specialise in delivering core banking and consumer focussed digital banking solutions to Building Societies, specialist banks and other specialist lenders. The Product Management Team possess deep market insight and clear understanding of the financial services market and in turn drive a market leading, innovative Product and solution strategy.

We are on an exciting journey to implement our new strategy involving both the transformation and growth of our business along with disrupting the market it serves, by creating a Digital Platform/Ecosystem. We have multiple established products in the market and are on a journey to both re-architect and revolutionise both the technology stack and user experience. We are seeking experienced Analysts either with knowledge of the Savings and Loans sector or experience of working as an Analyst in a fast paced agile development function.

**Who are we looking for?**
- A Product Owner who is able to contribute to the creation, development and maintenance of the product portfolio including both or established products and next generation platform, by taking customer and market requirements and driving product delivery through leadership of the day to day development activities.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Be able to engage and describe the required solution to internal colleagues and customers.
- Represent the voice of the customer in all development discussions.
- Act as the SCRUM Product Owner and communicate regularly with other key stakeholders in the business including Development, Quality Assurance, Customer Services, Sales & Marketing so that software releases are delivered predictably and with the appropriate collateral, and be an active participant in sprint planning sessions.
- Collaborate with development teams to prepare, prioritize and groom the story backlog, determining the order of stories in the functional backlog and regularly reviewing in a manner that fits with the logistics of sprint planning and feeds the development team with high quality epics.
- Manage the product backlogs to ensure that the product roadmaps, contractual commitments and statutory requirements are met and that they are well defined for the Development teams to estimate and complete.
- Understand conflicting requirements, engage and negotiate with stakeholders, conclude relative priorities and timescales, and amend the roadmap and backlog as necessary, clearly communicating outcomes and managing expectations accordingly.
- Define detailed use cases to drive prioritization and shape user experience through direct user feedback.
- Help manage project planning and timelines with the development teams while reviewing product specifications and requirements.
- Continually identify and recommend new ideas and product solutions, liaising with the Development and Professional Services teams as appropriate, based on: ongoing customer research, feedback and product performance, competitive analysis, and from horizon 2 scanning and keeping up to date with changes in the competition and how this impacts our products and services.
- To contribute to the design, look and feel of the product to achieve optimal usability for users.
- Translate the product vision, business strategy and customer requirements into software features and product functionality.
- Support the Product Managers in coordinating marketing and business development efforts to encourage sales and help track business performance in product growth, assisting with sales briefing and component descriptions including supporting pre-sales initiatives, regular contact with appropriate customer groups and facilitating user groups.
- Assist the Product Managers in creating, developing and maintaining the product roadmaps and solutions strategy by: o providing key functional knowledge and direction, o prioritising contractual, statutory and opportunistic changes o having buy-in from both local and global implementation and development teams.
- Work with the Product Managers to identify the appropriate metrics to measure the success of new or updated features and track the success of projects post-launch through those metrics.
- Undertake regular ‘gap’ analysis of market needs versus product availability.
- Work closely with Analysts to assist in defining detailed requirement specifications.

- A strong academic or vocational background.
- Good, quality driven customer services skills.
- Good written communication skills including writing technical and business requirement documents e.g. user stories, Business Requirements, Functional requirements etc.
