The (UK) Head of Service & Asset Management will take the lead role in the management of all divisional water hygiene PPM service contracts, to ensure full compliance with ACoP L8 (HSG274 & 282) HTM (04-01 & 01-05) and all other relevant statutory standards and technical guidance documents. You will also be directly responsible for the delivery of PPM revenue and profitability targets and for ensuring accurate and efficient invoicing for the department.

In addition, you will be fully responsible for the appraisal and development of the field service/contract and asset management systems and for maintaining the accuracy of these systems, so as to demonstrate full compliance and adherence with the contract scope and specification.

You will manage a departmental budget of circa £2m and through effective leadership, will manage and motive a team of Regional Managers and the Business Support Team, to ensure the development of the entire service & PPM department towards exceptional quality service and 100% compliance with both the relevant statutory requirements and client contract specifications.

In addition, you will work closely with, and provide technical support for our Risk Assessment, Technical Services and Sales & Account Management team, to ensure all works are delivered successfully, and the highest standards of service are provided to our customers.

**Qualifications & experience**:
Essential - Must have at least 5-10 years’ experience within the building services compliance sector, with a strong background in the water hygiene and legionella control sector.

Essential - Must have clear and demonstrable experience in managing the development and/or implementation of a relevant CRM / Asset Management systems

Essential - strong working knowledge of the water treatment/legionella industry and relevant legislation.

Should possess excellent commercial skills and be able to critically analyse management and financial information for strong decision making.

Must be a strategic leader and possess first class communication and management skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the safe and effective and compliant delivery of all PPM and service works to contract specification.
- Appraise and oversee and progress and development of the CRM / Asset Management systems for the PPM service contracts.
- Ensure all contracted PPM works meet with company expected gross profit levels and provide regular progress reports to the Managing Director to demonstrate progress with agreed targets.
- Ensure all PPM and service works are invoiced accurately, with all opportunities for additional revenues maximised.
- Work closely and proactively with the Sales & Account Management team to ensure all jobs processed are completed, with variations agreed, costs and charging uplifts approved for successful completion.
- Responsible for ensuring that all relevant divisional Health & Safety procedures are adequately managed, developed and maintained to meet with group and statutory requirements.
- Ensure all subordinate staff are suitably managed, motivated and trained to perform at the highest level.
- Work in close liaison with Risk Assessment Manager and Group’s Quality department to ensure all Service Provider Commitments with the Legionella Control Association’s Code of Conduct are adhered to and all auditing and re-registration requirements are fulfilled.
- Liaise with Churchill Group shared services departments (such as Fleet, Human Resources, QSHE and Payroll etc) to ensure improved divisional integration with the wider group.
- Ensure all reporting processes and procedures relating to PPM compliance and contract delivery are developed and improved.
- Hold and attend regular meetings with key customers and external stakeholders, together with account managers.
- Ensure departmental KPIs and revenue targets are achieved and exceeded.
- Provide the sales and account management team with technical advice and guidance.
- Ensure the highest possible quality service levels to customers.
- Meet all targets and goals and help develop divisional strategies as part of the senior leadership team.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
