**Energy Services Technical Agent**

As new technology and assets emerge in the Energy Services business, you’ll work with bespoke software integrations and configurations to onboard assets successfully under Drax management and control. Understanding the configuration requirements, you’ll work with internal colleagues and on-site engineers to resolve hardware issues and promote best working practices.
**About the role**
Day to day, you’ll troubleshoot common issues with hardware at point of commission and work with colleagues and third parties to prevent repeat incidents. Strong communication skills will be key, engaging with internal stakeholders and product owners, ensuring the practical requirements of new products and services are fully understood and documented.
Contributing to efficient business processes, you’ll deliver a high level of customer service to both customers and suppliers. You’ll participate and record all testing outcomes for new hardware and software in the portfolio to ensure timely installation of products and services.
**About you**
You’ll be confident, personable and able to deal with senior individual, demonstrating flexibility and readiness to adapt to change within a developing industry. With a logical approach to problem solving and an understanding of root cause analysis process and data interpretation, you’ll use initiative to work through new or complex problems independently.
Being a team player is a must. Working closely with team members, alongside being able to work effectively independently. Strong organisational skills and being able to quickly switch tasks and reprioritise based on business requirements, you’ll be service focused with an eye for detail.
Knowledge of the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) would be a plus, as would an awareness of the Electric Vehicle industry.
