**Mapping Agent 3 Month FTC**

**Ipswich**

Milestone is currently looking to recruit 3 mapping agents to work on our Suffolk Highways contract in Ipswich.

As a Mapping Agent you will be part of our Cyclical Maintenance Team who are responsible for the maintenance of Suffolk's soft estate.

**As a mapping agent **your duties & responsibilities will be**:

- Delivering the Accurate collection of digital cut data.
- To ensure all cuts are recorded appropriately in line with the programme, and have been executed in accordance with specifications, drawings and dimensions.
- Continual focus on operational delivery against your designated cut team. You will be empowered to take corrective action at any stage to ensure the best possible outcome.
- Be responsible for your day-to-day Health & Safety while undertaking your mapping duties, by using the lone worker app
- To ensure all work carried out is in accordance with local operational procedures and Milestone policies by ensuring all work instructions are formally recorded.
- Ensure completion dates are entered and are accurate

**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- Effective team management, motivational and influencing skills to get the best from everyone.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent customer skills and the ability to demonstrate influencing in all situations.
- Good general IT skills are essential, and ideally, you’ll be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- The ability to learn and operate new tablet based digital data systems.
- The ability to drive excellent relationships with contacts at all levels - from the site team to colleagues across the wider Milestone and M Group Services.
- The ability to remain flexible in your approach to the role whilst embracing change and helping to drive that change through the wider teams and through into the delivery

**Additional Information**
- You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools.
- You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.
- You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.
