The Child Maintenance Service helps parents, who are unable to make a private financial agreement in support of their child(ren)’s living costs, ensure and at times enforce, the legal responsibility to provide financial support. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that sits within the wider DWP Service Modernisation Programme having responsibility for PMO functions with a particular emphasis on reporting against Benefits realised through delivery.

The main duties of the role are to:

- Leading sessions with key stakeholders to understand benefits realisation gains from Core Sprints.
- Extracting data from Management Information sources to enable upward reporting of resources savings.
- Developing supporting products for reporting into high-level governance forums - detailing progress on Benefits Realisation.
- Monitoring progress against team plans by keeping the Project Tracker updated and translating this into the Project Status Report for Review Meetings.
- Documenting outputs from meetings and issuing them to attendees.
- Work with Operations, Design, Digital and other supporting business areas to ensure actions for achieving the benefits quoted in the changes are completed.
- Other PMO functions including planning, monitoring and reporting Project wide.

**Essential Criteria**

The post holder will need to demonstrate:

- Experience of successfully supporting the delivery of changes within a project environment **(Lead Criteria).**:

- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and delivering to challenging deadlines.
- Solid planning and organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience of analysing data to draw accurate conclusions and recommendations

The following desirable criteria:

- Experience of working within Child Maintenance Service, its predecessors or a similar environment.
- Understanding of governance and risk control frameworks.
- Achieved or are working towards PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM Practitioner, Management of Risk, or equivalent qualification.
