We are currently recruiting for a HLTA in a small independent special educational needs school. The school is located in the Caterham area and caters for pupils aged 11 to 16 who that experience a range of needs including autism spectrum conditions and associated behaviours.

**Your roles and responsibilities will include**:

- Leading in the absence of any class teacher across the school.
- Assist the class teacher with carrying out the duties of the school day.
- Develop and implement individual plans for pupils,
- Understanding and taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the pupils.
- Monitoring pupils conduct and behaviour throughout the learning process and intervene to resolve highly complex or very challenging issues and to keep records of these incidents.
