Your role is to support learners on a 1:1 and small group basis with all aspects of their education whilst also supporting and encouraging life skills through activities such as cooking, community visits and creative projects. This role is needed on a full time, term time only basis and is a permanent position needed to start September. This school is a specialist provision and supports approx 100 pupils with complex and severe SEN needs. The needs of the learners include medical needs, Autism, Physical disabilities, non verbal and complex needs. This school is both a primary and secondary provision supporting children from the age of 5.

This school offers various award winning training courses completely free of charge with time in your working week to complete all necessary aspects and at completion you could have various recognised qualifications to progress your career. The school in question boasts brilliant grounds, outstanding resources and outdoor learning spaces. You would join a committed team of 3 teachers and 3 TA's in your Key stage and would support in the delivery of a creative, relevant and practical curriculum that meets the needs of the children's individual needs. All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential)

Relevant Voluntary or paid teaching Assistant, childcare, care and/or SEN experience (desirable)

Eligibility to work in the UK

GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
