We are currently looking for a cafe assistant with great customer service skills and who can work well under pressure at a busy cafe. Someone with the ability to work as part of a team and be proactive; be friendly, positive and efficient; and most importantly, have passion for food and drink.

**The Role**

**General Assistant - All Rounder**

The role is varied as we all share the workload but ideally, we are looking for someone with a passion for food. and/or coffee, who is full of energy to work at a fast paced environment and who is keen to work with our chef and be trained on how to prep and deliver all dishes from or menu or be trained as a barista and deliver latte art every time.

Other responsibilities will include front of house, taking orders, operating the till, making smoothies & milkshakes, making hot drinks, serving & clearing tables, washing up, doing stock checks as well as helping with the daily cleaning at the end of the day.

All staff members must;
- Provide the perfect service experience for every customer
- Maintain Health & Food Safety standards at the highest level

**What experience do you need?**

Previous experience making food in a similar environment or as a barista is preferable. The main things we look for are a positive personality, a can-do attitude, ability to multitask and think on your feet, be proactive, have a passion for working with fresh food and coffee and the desire to develop within a like-minded business.

You'll be working 4-5 days per week. Fixed working days can be agreed in advance and will include either Saturday or Sunday.

Working hours are 8:45am to 5pm (give or take) 7 days a week. **You'll have all your evenings free**

Start Date: December 2023
