And it inspires our Communications team to find ever-more creative ways to promote our work and share how people can get involved in making a difference to children’s lives. Join us as Performance Marketing Officer, and create work that means the world.

**About the team**

The primary purpose of the NSPCC’s Marketing and Planning Department is to reach and engage our priority audiences, in our mission to prevent child abuse by delivering best in class marketing, encouraging them to do, give or learn. The Performance Marketing team work with teams across the NSPCC to create, deliver and optimise marketing campaigns.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Performance Marketing Manager and working closely with the rest of the Marketing and Planning team, this role will support the delivery and optimisation of the paid marketing strategy across the Income Generation Directorate. Our aim is to maximise resources for the NSPCC’s mission by raising funds, providing the best possible supporter experience, and building long-term relationships between donors and our cause. To continue to deliver our mission, we rely on the fundraising support of people across the UK for 90% of our annual income. We have an ambition to increase that income from a base line of £112m in 2019/20 to £250m by 2034/35. To achieve this growth, we need the very best team in place to deliver these ambitious targets.

Specially you will be:

- Working closely with Income Generation teams to develop and implement successful marketing strategies to help meet our ambitious income targets.
- Monitoring, evaluating and optimising marketing campaigns while they’re in-flight
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop SMART campaign briefs, digital plans and deliverables to achieve campaign objectives.

**About you**

We are looking for a skilled performance marketing officer who will work closely with teams across the NSPCC to deliver a range of marketing campaigns to help us raise awareness, drive behaviour change and raise vital funds. You will be a great communicator with a track record of planning and delivering multiple projects and campaigns to meet strict deadlines, with a strong understanding of marketing and communications, with the desire to develop your knowledge and experience further.

**We're looking for someone with the following skills and experience**:

- Experience of successfully operating at a high level in the delivery of marketing campaigns as a part of customer/supporter acquisition and retention strategies.
- Experience of managing digital, communications or marketing projects successfully from inception to closure, scheduling, finding solutions to problems, and communicating effectively throughout
- Possess a good understanding of campaign tracking basics and work closely with Web Analytics and Data teams to review and improve campaign performance, then produce insights and share recommendations with stakeholders to refine and improve existing and future campaign performance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to analyse, interpret and present complex information in a clear and persuasive way for a wide range of audiences.
- Highly developed ability to establish, develop and maintain relationships with a wide variety of people, particularly with senior level individuals.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to organise and plan own work and the work of others, manage budgets, and deliver objectives on time.

Join us and you’ll become part of a team that cares about the work they do and the people they work with. You’ll discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that’ll bring the best out in you. And you’ll get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts millions of young lives.
