With a background in the theatre and events industry, we offer specialised technical production services and prioritise exceptional customer service in every project we undertake. Our warehouse and offices in Plummers Plain serve as the hub for our operations, but our services extend across the country. Over the years, we have expanded our offerings to include installations and technical support for venues, earning NICEIC accreditation in 2013. As we continue to grow, our aim is to bring something new and different to the market place.

**The Role**

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company over the summer with lots of potential to gain experience in the events and permanant installation industries.

The Warehouse and Projects Assistant will be a key team member in the team working closely with all staff.

**Reports To**

The Warehouse and Projects Assistant will report to the company directors.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Operate rental software to manage equipment, including selecting and preparing equipment for hires, processing returns and adding new equipment and stock
- Cleaning, testing and maintenance of equipment
- Basic repairs of equipment including making cables and changing plugs
- Completing pre-fabrication for projects
- Assist with on-site installation
- Assist with maintaining a tidy and organised warehouse/workshop
- Being knowledgeable about the services offered by Creative Spark Services Ltd
- Maintaining a positive attitude that inspires co-workers and clients to grow the business

Please note: This role will involve some working at height and heavy lifting.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Essential_
- Educated to a minimum of GCSE grade C/4 in maths and English
- PC Literate
- Full UK Driving License (due to the rural location of our offices you will also need your own transport)
- Basic electrical knowledge (i.e. How to wire a plug)
- Desirable_
- Experience working in a technical role in the theatre or events industry
- Have an interest in electrics

**Hours of Work**

Standard working hours will be Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. The nature of the role will require some working at evenings and weekends along with work away from home. (Time off in lieu will be offered.)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £12.85 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
