Inflammatory Bowel Disease Support and Mdt

A fixed term role working as administrative support and mutidisciplinary team meeting co-ordinator for the clinical nurse specialist team in the Inflammatory Bowel Disease service. The team cares for the diagnosis, treatment support and monitoring for patients with lifelong Inflammatory Bowel Diseases.
The post holder will provide a combination of organisational support and administrative duties to deliver a service to patients with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. deal with telephone enquiries and co-ordinate the arrangements, records and reports for the IBD multi-disciplinary team meetings.
Provide effective support and co-ordination of the service by acting as the primary point of telephone contact for patients, carers and medical teams and ensuring queries are directed to the most appropriate team members promptly and effectively
Provide organizational and administrative support to the IBD team to include but not exclusively, clerical duties such as telephone queries, filing, arranging and co-ordinating patient investigation requirements and results.
Organising and co-ordinate regular MDT meetings for IBD. This includes arranging meeting request via MS Teams or videoconference facilities as required, preparing case notes and investigation results, attending meetings to take minutes and complete records and distributing outcomes reports.
