About the Job

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an exceptional Senior Rheumatologist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our rheumatology services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of providing specialist care to patients with rheumatic diseases, with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and manage others. You will work closely with our nursing, professional and technical, social work and administrative staff to ensure seamless delivery of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing specialist care to patients with rheumatic diseases
  • Leading and managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Developing and implementing plans to improve patient outcomes and service delivery

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Full Registration with the General Medical Council
  • Entry on the GMC specialist register via relevant CCT, MRCP(UK) or equivalent
  • Strong leadership and management skills

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £87,912 - £116,866 per annum, depending on experience. The Trust offers a range of benefits, including a comprehensive pension scheme, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for professional development.
