Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert surgical care for patients with vascular conditions, including elective and emergency procedures
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A valid Full Registration with the General Medical Council
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant CCT or equivalent experience
  • On the Specialist Register for Vascular Surgery or within 6 months of being admitted by the date of appointment
Desirable Qualifications and Skills

Candidates with the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Other relevant medical and non-medical training/degree
  • Other relevant postgraduate qualification
  • MD or PhD degree
  • Proven track record in undertaking research projects
  • Training and experience in endovascular procedures
