An excellent opportunity has been made available for a Housing Repairs Assistant to join my client.

Initially based in Norwich City Centre, the role will become hybrid working when you are fully trained.

It is a 37.5 hour week and is expected to be about 3 months possible longer.

To carry out work and support needs of the backlog housing repair team in their role.

Support the housing responsive and repairs backlog team. Issue standard replies to correspondence and follow up to ensure a full response is sent within the council’s service standards for replying to correspondence.

To ensure that initial enquiries and complaints received are processed in accordance with the council service standards.

To answer telephone calls, replying directly where possible. Inform callers of council procedure and respond to day to day queries where information is available.

Provide support to the Backlog housing repairs and other members of the council when necessary.

Organise internal and external meetings, including minute taking and progressing action points. This will include room booking and refreshment ordering.

Use Microsoft office products to effectively complete the administrative tasks and activities required in the role.

Maintain electronic and other filing systems. Photocopying.

Gather data for Data to completed monthly reports for the backlog housing repairs team.

To carry out any other duties commensurate with the post and specific to the service and its changing needs.
