Maintenance and Repair Expert

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Repair Expert to join our team at RAF Lakenheath. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile equipment and vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting malfunctions and determining necessary repairs. You will utilize diagnostic tools, order parts, complete documentation, and provide training and assistance to others.

About the Role:

  • Perform heavy mobile equipment mechanic work, including troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Conduct automotive mechanic work on various vehicles (e.g., forklifts, trucks, buses, ambulances).
  • Complete documentation and provide training and assistance to others.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, Automotive Maintenance and Repair, or similar.
  • Valid Category B driver's license.
  • Security clearance and right to work in the UK.
