Automotive and Heavy Equipment Repair Expert: We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive and Heavy Equipment Repair Expert to join our team at RAF Lakenheath. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile equipment and vehicles, troubleshooting malfunctions, and determining necessary repairs.

Salary and Benefits: This role comes with a competitive salary of £14.55 per hour, as well as a range of benefits, including 25 days Annual Leave + UK Bank Holidays, Paid Sick Leave, Pension Scheme, and Free On-Site Parking.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform heavy mobile equipment mechanic work, including troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Conduct automotive mechanic work on various vehicles (e.g., forklifts, trucks, buses, ambulances).
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and order parts for repairs.
  • Complete documentation and provide training and assistance to others.

About You: To be successful in this role, you will need an NVQ level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and repair or similar, as well as a valid Category B driver's license. Additionally, you will require a security clearance and a right to work in the UK.
