An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client who specialise in development and distribution of medical equipment. An organically grown company founded over 25 years ago with growth plans in place.

My client is looking for a highly motivated individual to join their team as a sales and finance assistant, who will be working with the Production Manager and Finance Manager to ensure the smooth running of the production department, office, and related administration support tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sales and Purchase ledger processing
- Inputting and processing receipts and payment
- Updating Cashflow and Budget
- Reconciling Bank Statements
- Liaising and assisting the Finance Manager with Payroll, Vat Returns and Management accounts.
- All aspects of general accounts
- Inputting and processing sales and purchase orders
- Coordinating and liaising with freight forwarders to plan and book deliveries and ensuring they have all documentation, including creating commercial invoices to be able to clear goods without complications.
- Update ISO 9001 systems
- Monitoring and maintaining office consumables, stock takes and shopping.
- Undertake general administration tasks and clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, answering the telephone, opening post, overseeing supplier contracts, as well as helping out with other ad hoc duties within other departments during busy periods.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Competent on Microsoft packages, especially Excel which is essential.
- Computer literate with good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Excellent time management skills and highly organised
- Positive attitude and excellent people skills
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Min. of 2 years Finance experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
