The Leadership team at Solihull are weeks away from opening a state-of-the-art theatre suite which when fully operational will perform 11,500 procedures a year.
As we expand our services, we recognise the need to increase our workforce. We have created two vacancies for Ward PA/ Administrator to support our Ward Managers and Deputies by way of personal assistant duties.
With flexibility a key factor in looking for work, Solihull Hospital can offer 18.75 hours a week working across 2-3 days. We have three vacancies. One fixed term for nine months and two substantively.
Ideally, you've worked within a similar capacity, with experience in providing first class secretarial, administration and customer services. You'll have excellent communications skills and be confident in dealing with all colleagues within the Ward.
**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
The workload will be varied and at times challenging, however being able to multitask in an efficient manner whilst maintaining a caring and helpful attitude underpins everything you do.
As we work across all communities within Birmingham and Solihull, you'll be approachable, reliable, and able to build rapport with team members and patients from a range of cultures and backgrounds.
Success will see you use your excellent communication and organisational skills and be confident to make judgements unaided. You will be able to work proactively to problem solve and work on your own initiative.
