An opportunity has arisen to join us in KMPT as a Physiotherapy Team Leader. You will manage and lead a small team of Physiotherapists & Sports & Exercise Instructors across the Younger & Older Adult Mental Health Inpatient wards, our Rehabilitation units and Home Treatment team. The Physiotherapy team works collaboratively with other AHP Colleagues. You will need to be able to drive & access a car for this role as it covers Maidstone & Dartford areas

As Team Lead Physiotherapist, you will provide line management & professional supervision to a small team of Physiotherapists and Sports & Exercise technicians. You will undertake yearly appraisals and support staff development, learning & CPD.

You will lead on ensuring high quality services are provided in assessment & intervention and be responsible for providing reports, evidence of practice for the team using digital software e.g RIO

You will be required to coordinate health & safety & risk management within the team.

The team regularly have Physiotherapy students which you will need to coordinate and provide practice education for.

You will need to work closely with Team Lead Physiotherapist West, with the Lead Occupational Therapists and the ward MDT's to coordinate, promote and grow Physiotherapy within KMPT.

Physiotherapy is a growing profession & service within KMPT. The team are keen to promote the benefits of Physiotherapy to the ward teams and be able to provide a variety of assessments & interventions across the Younger & Older adult wards.

The Physiotherapy teams have Band 6, Band 5 & Band 4 posts and regularly have Physiotherapy students on placement from Christ Church University, Canterbury providing a healthy learning environment and education of Physiotherapy in mental health
