We recruiting for a Therapy Lead to join our specialist team.

Reporting to the Therapy Services Manager (TSM), the Therapy Lead will be responsible for managing the inpatient therapy provision, day care and all resources within it. This will include providing management supervision to members of the therapy team and planning staffing rotas.

Applicants will be required to:

- Oversee the private therapy service provided to patients and ensure that patients receive appropriate care and treatment.
- Be involved in the continued review and development of the private therapy service and to ensure that the service meets the relevant compliance standards.
- Ensure the effective and efficient management of the private therapy team, inclusive of managerial supervision, the management of annual leave, sickness, annual Performance Development Reviews, and monthly team meetings.
- Be responsible for organising and prioritising own clinical workload (working at least 40% of their contracted hours as clinical face-to-face hours).
- Encourage and support the development of multi-disciplinary team work within the service.
- Support the hospital with psychological debriefs after incidents as required.
- Be available for any clinical issues the team may need, for example managing risk, responding to complex patient needs, supporting individual cases with a wider MDT as necessary.
- Supporting the TSM as necessary with the running of the therapy team and attending management meetings as required
- Be available to support the Therapy Services Manager with specialist projects and clinical guidance where required.
- Ensure that own clinical supervision is accessed in accordance with professional registration.
- Keep up-to-date with current developments in psychology practice, professional issues, service developments, and personal continuous professional development.
- Disseminate knowledge acquired through study to colleagues within service.

Good communication skills and a flexible approach are essential.
