We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk Co-ordinator to join our team on a permanent basis.

The primary purpose of the role will be to work closely with our second line of defence risk management team and our supplier management team to support their work. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in these areas to grow their knowledge and experience and you will be fully supported by the team to do this.

**What will your role look like?**
- Supporting the team with the management of upcoming and overdue actions on risk events and risk registers.
- Supporting the team with the tracking and chasing of internal audit partner actions and management responses.
- Supporting with gathering of information and evidence for second line risk team audits and control reviews.
- Supporting with risk event triage for low-risk events
- assessing in line with our risk matrix and ensuring that key information is captured and understandable.
- Managing governance calendar
- including ensuring that all Board and committee meetings across the group are aligned through working with committee meeting secretaries to ensure alignment with Oversight Board requirements.
- Supporting with the co-ordination of risk packs
- setting up templates, working with other teams (e.g., legal, and regulatory) to gather updates and input and co-ordinating with our first line colleagues where required.
- Risk system, supplier management system and internal information page maintenance and updating.
- Supporting with facilitating workshops
- e.g., helping to document outputs.
- Supporting with producing standard system driven extracts and reporting e.g., risk event extracts for risk event forum.
- Supporting with updating mandatory policies and co-ordination and tracking of policy reviews.
- Setting up quarterly (and other business partnering sessions) with risk champions and other internal stakeholders (e.g., Board members, Heads of Business Units).
- Attending and minuting quarterly risk and control self-assessment reviews

- and supplier performance reviews.
- Co-ordination of supplier due diligence responses and supporting with general supplier onboarding administration.
- Supporting with supplier mailbox monitoring.
- Supporting with supplier committee liaison including agenda, minutes, and reporting packs.
- Supporting with general ad-hoc project work.
- Pro-active and pragmatic
- with a focus on using your judgment and initiative.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Logical and organised with good attention to detail.
- Effective communication and people skills and experience of dealing with different stakeholders across a business.
- Ability to prioritise and manage a number of different projects at the same time spanning different areas of work.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Experience of working with Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and ideally SharePoint.
- Some experience or awareness of risk management frameworks and processes and/or some experience of supplier selection, onboarding, and management is desirable.
