We operate an extensive range of services including buses, trains, health and social transport services, airport related transport services, commuter coaches and water buses. We also engage in bus and coach distribution.
Arriva UK Bus are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator to join their team in either London or Aintree office. This role is full time, permanent.
Liaising on a day-to-day basis with recruitment team/managers/training team to provide a comprehensive HR administration support function for onboarding of drivers
Providing HR admin support to all employees as required
To produce and issue offer letters and contracts for all new drivers across UKB
To ensure all required paperwork is completed and returned in time to enable a seamless onboarding process
To ensure that new starter pack documentation is current and update it as required
First point of contact for HR queries by phone and via the HR Services mailbox
Ensuring the maintenance of up to date and accurate HR records (both computerised and hard copy) in line with GDPR legislation
Processing of new starters on the system, ensuring that they are updated on the system in line with payroll deadlines
Dealing with all day-to-day administration of HR employee services including providing Workday support to managers when needed
Day to day administration of HR employee services, HR projects, employee engagement and other employee interaction as required
Confidence, flexibility, and adaptability
Able to build relationships with all levels and remain calm under pressure
The ability to work on a number of priority projects at the same time
A team player, who is approachable and must have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work on their own initiative
- A high level of administrative expertise in previous roles
High standard of customer service
Intermediate experience in MS Office programmes and particularly Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, V-lookups, formulas
Organisational experience and ability to multitask at a high level
Positivity, strong team player and resilience
Willingness to suggest new ideas and processes
Knowledge of the Workday HR system would be an advantage
