Senior Head Chef - Salary £45k - £50k dep on exp - Exquisite Theme Park - Tamworth

We are hiring a Senior Head Chef to join our team of food professionals and take charge of all kitchen operations, ensuring that our customers' dining experience is exceptional. The Senior Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operationsof all kitchen staff and overseeing the preparation, presentation and service of meals. He or she will be responsible for creating menus and recipe ideas, and his or her leadership skills will be vital for the continued success of our company. A leader whocan galvanise and move the team and product forward in a strategic way over a period of time, leading from the front.
- Must have previous experience in a similar role
- Corporate Hotel background
- Servicing upward of 1,200 covers per day over multiple outlets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare recipes and side dishes according to customers' needs and preferences.
- Work as part of a team and communicate with other staff members.
- Conduct food prep in a timely manner.
- Conform to kitchen safety protocols.
- Have knowledge of all cooking techniques.
- Food Service_
- Lead the team by example, ensuring that your own personal standards of service, food quality and presentation are met and exceeded by your team.
- Creation and implementation of food concepts that successfully caters for the needs of the hotel’s restaurant, bar and extensive meeting and events facilities.
- Ensure consistency of food standards by producing and ensuring that agreed recipe specifications are followed by team.
- Stay abreast of industry standards and competitor offerings, ensuring that DMR remains ahead of the competition and a leader within the events market.
- Have a key eye for detail and presentation, driving standards forward with enthusiasm and creativity._Team_
- Act as an ambassador for the business, ensuring the companies Vision, Mission and Values are embraced by the team to create a vibrant, energetic, and fun working environment.
- Create the working schedules for chefs and kitchen porters, ensuring they are within the agreed budgets.
- Organise agency resource where required to ensure the effective preparation and punctual delivery of food for all events.
- Manage and monitor working hours, ensuring that the time and attendance system is correct, reporting forecasted labour and actuals by given deadlines for payroll purposes.
- Train and develop you team to a high level, implementing personal development plans and appraisals in line with company standards to ensure the ongoing development of your team.
- Ensure that the kitchen team are presented in proper, well-maintained uniforms, personal appearance and hygiene must be as per company policies.
- Responsible for team recruitment, induction and training.
