Pertemps Recruitment agency has partnered with a major international membership organization that promotes and advance civil engineering around the world, this organization is looking for Events Operations Executive to join their team in London.
This is a full-time, permanent role (Hybrid) - paying around £35000k per annum.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Answering delegate queries both electronically, over the phone, and in person promptly to ensure a high standard of customer service.
- Communicate with authors, speakers re presentations and audio visual requirements where necessary to ensure the smooth running of events.
- Communicate with all partners (sponsors, exhibitors, etc) to ensure complete fulfilment of contractual obligations and smooth running of the event.
- Sourcing external venues when required ensuring that all elements of the event brief are accounted for and mínimal risk is undertaken
- Liaise with venue to ensure all AV/Catering and operation requirements are met
- Run speaker rehearsals (whether online or in person) to ensure that speakers are familiar with platform/venue and comfortable with all equipment.
- Create feedback form to obtain useful feedback to assist in improving standard of events produced
- Full project management of complex high profile events.Managing internal and external stakeholders at all levels to ensure event delivery both successful and meets expected standards.
- Full decision making authority on the event.Will need to consult relevant internal authorities regarding wider companys messaging and external positioning.
- Assign activities to the Events Administrator and Events operations Coordinator
- Ensuring all operations requirements (such as AV/Catering costs) are managed to guarantee the event falls within the agreed budget
- Finalising the budget and ensuring any revenue and costs are recorded in a summary word document for reference and post event budget is fully and accurately updated to assist is generating precise and accurate information management tools
- Full budgetary management and responsibility but will need to gain approval for any overspend on agreed budget.

**Key Requirements & Skills**:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent event experience significant experience in administration of events
- Track record in delivering events on target (time and financial) is highly desirable
- Previous experience in training or leading a team and project management is an asset
- A thorough understanding of current events and delegate registration processes
- Experience running online events
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, touch typing
