Certification Officer

Overview:
Element has an opportunity for a
**Certification Officer** to join our team based in High Wycombe. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing companies in the global Testing, Inspection & Certification sector.
**Responsibilities**:
- Review audit reports, non-conformances, contract reviews and associated documentation to ensure technical compliance with scheme and accreditation rules
- Approve documents for certification if they meet the relevant Standard’s technical requirements
- Respond to and resolve promptly all Group office enquiries relating to Certification matters
- Maintain professional work standards based on a balance of quality of decision making, output, and timeliness.
- Work with manager, colleagues and team to increase knowledge of role and Standards and the service provided by all, improving technical and decision making skills for self and the team
- Provide support for Accreditation Body audits as required
- To provide general support to the Operations team in relation to the annual audit programmes
- To ensure that client files and records are maintained in an accurate and complete manner
Skills / Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze and interpret data
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Proactive approach to work with good level of self-confidence
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Confident when dealing with people at all levels
- Prompt, accurate and reliable
- Excellent team player attitude
