**About HR Recruitment/Support Officer**

As a HR Recruitment/Support Officer you will be specifically focusing on our recruitment requirements within the business.

Alongside this, you will be responsible for all aspects of the HR administrative processes through the full employee lifecycle, from on-boarding to exit, reward and recognition and maintenance of internal records. You will provide an efficient and comprehensive administrative service working with high levels of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion. You will be working within a great HR team, ensuring that all things related to our people processes are actioned in a timely manner, paying close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Hours of work Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 although flexibility in the hours worked will be required.
- Access to own vehicle due to current location.

**Main Duties**
- Facilitate recruitment by working alongside hiring managers to ensure adherence to HR software-driven processes. Additionally optimizing permanent recruitment hires by advertising through recruitment media platforms and conducting CV searches.
- Engage and maintain an affiliation with agencies to source quality agency personnel as and when requested by operational managers.
- Deliver HR inductions and conduct of-boarding as required.
- Raise and issue contracts for new starters.
- New starter’s administration.
- Identifying training requirements per position for succession planning purposes and assisting with the implementation of the relevant training courses.
- Supporting manager’s with training requirements to include sourcing and maintaining relationships with training providers
- Monitor manage and follow up all HR actions that are raised within the HR software.
- Maintain employee files in line with Legislation.
- Be responsible and involved with all aspects of the HR administration process. Return to Work, process doctors’ notes, DBS checks, update trackers, ensure the right to work checks are up to date, audit of staff files, scanning and filing.
- Liaising with our payroll team to ensure all people data remains accurate and reflects changes in the starters/leavers/absence processes.
- Changes to T&C’s and assist with Employee Relations issues such as minute meetings.
- Manage changes to staff holidays and sickness, as this is continuous owing to the nature of the business
- Review and update SOPs.
- Manage documents are scanned, uploaded and processed.
- Manage incoming phone calls/queries.
- Provide Employment References.

You will from time to time be required to undertake other duties of a similar nature as reasonably required by your line manager. You are required to follow all ATL policies and procedures at all times and take account of ATL guidance.

**Required skills and experience**

**Essential**
- Good standard of Education (eg GCSE’s including Maths and English)
- Experience in recruitment
- Experience in HR Administration
- An ability to prioritise a busy and demanding workload with excellent organisational skills.
- Looking to build on their current HR experience with some knowledge of the entire HR lifecycle, best practice, and employment law.

**Desirable**
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or demonstrable experience, or willing to work towards gaining a CIPD Level 3 qualification.
- Experience utilising HR System
- An understanding of Employment Law would be advantageous
