Business Development Manager - Food Ingredients
£45,000 - 50,000 + Bonus, Car and Benefits
Location flexible, occasional travel to Yorkshire Head office required
Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a specialist supplier of starches, sweeteners and sugars to the food manufacturing industry to recruit a highly motivated Business Development Manager to help further grow their market share.
Business Development Manager Role & Responsibilities
- Generate and convert business leads
- Manage an existing portfolio of clients connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
- Manage and grow distribution and sales channels
- Site visits to potential, new and existing customers
- Negotiate sales contracts with customers
- Manage your customer relationships cross functionally and support the sales team
- Ensure that annual budgets, spend, customer business and promotional plans are managed in line with corporate expectations
Business Development Manager Skills and Knowledge
- Experience in the UK food market with specific knowledge of food ingredients
- Commercially astute with the ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
- Self-motivated and driven
- Proven negotiation skills
- Computer literate, Microsoft office and previous experience in Sage CRM and or Sales Force preferred
