We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Customer Service Officer/Customer Welcome Host

Location - St Pancras Station

Full time - 35 hours a week - working 4 days with a mixture of earlies and lates, earliest shift is 05:45 - 14:30 and latest shift is 15:30 - 00:15

Must be able to attend a induction on
**Monday 22nd May 2023**

Salary - £21,825.00 rising to £23,037.50 after year 1 and rising to £24,250.00 after year 2.

**Main Duties**:

- Dispatch trains in a safe and timely manner
- Provide customers with advice and guidance
- Support with security searches at the station
- Be pro-active and visible to customers at all times
- Assist customers boarding and leaving trains as required
- Greeting customers at the gate and directing them to where they're going
- Checking customer train tickets as they pass through the gate
- Delivering outstanding levels of service to our customers, always
- Providing customers with advice and guidance as necessary
- Supporting on the platform when required to assist passengers

**The successful person will**:

- Possess fantastic customer service skills.
- Be highly personable; Can engage with customers and colleagues.
- Be organised and able to cope under pressure.
- Be able and willing to carry large items of luggage if necessary.
- Be resilient: Can be firm yet constructive to customers, particularly those that have arrived late onto platform and will miss their train.
- Be able to 'multi-task'
- Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
