The data integration team has several responsibilities for system development, system implementation, and project operational support:
- Act as the intermediary between the projects, functional teams, and IT teams on system and data integration requirements and issues.
- Understand the business requirements and be able to translate these into functional data integration requirements.
- Assist project and functional support teams with triage and troubleshooting of project data integration issues.
- Assist functional and IT support teams with validation and testing of data integration issues.
- Background checks are carried out as part of any conditional offer made, including (but not limited to & role dependant) education, professional registration, employment, references, passport verifications and Global Watchlist screening.
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

**Basic Job Requirements**
- The Data Integration team assists the IT Data Architects and IT ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) developers in translating functional requirements into an optimized data model for all required integrations. This includes identification of data sources, requirements around data ownership, business logic, data relationships, handling change, data security, and data retention.
- The Data Integration team assists the PC&E Functional Support SME team with the implementation of the new systems and provides SME expertise to the functional support team for triage and troubleshooting of project operational issues during implementation and steady state operation.- Assistance is also required to support system integration testing and validation during all QA cycles.**Other Job Requirements**
- Anticipated Duration: Minimum for one year with extension and growth into a permanent Data Integration Specialist role in the PES Project Systems & Data Organization
- Office: No Office Location requirements, can be a telecommuting position.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Good communication skills, most notably being able to listen
- Having a firm understanding of the work processes in Project Execution, either Project Controls, Engineering, or any other broad understanding of projects including Project Automation
- Good understanding of Unison concepts, Unison data standards, and Data Centric Execution
- Having programming and database skills and experience is a prerequisite - especially SQL
- Having SSIS packaging and SSRS/Power BI experience is advantageous but not essential
- Basic knowledge and willingness to learn more about technical aspects of Data Management, Data Integration, and Information Technology and in particular:

- Data modelling - being able to read and understand data models
- Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Active Directory - organization structure, groups, and users
- Agile development process
- Be cognizant of data security, data privacy, and governance
- Independently organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Plan and organize own work assignments, work independently as well as be able carry out impromptu tasks for projects, proposals, and the overall team
- Attend meetings in a global team, so flexibility in working hours to fit global common time zones is essential.
- Location is not important; you can work from any Fluor office or from a home office with proper connectivity but be mindful of the expectation to accommodate multiple time zones.
- Able to occasionally travel for a period of 1 to 2 weeks when required.
