Tuneful Tutors is a small music tuition company based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas.

We started our tuition back in 2017 and the business has expanded across several counties since with over 100+ students receiving lessons on a weekly basis and another 50+ currently on a waiting list.

We also cover online tuition which started during the pandemic but has been a popular option for many students since and gives us the ability to offer lessons worldwide and from the comfort of your own home

We offer lessons in a variety of different instruments including but not limited to:
Piano, Guitar, Drums, Bass, Vocals, Ukulele, Clarinet, Violin, Songwriting and Recording Techniques.

We also have access to and host lessons in a charity funded recording studio in Buckinghamshire which will offer tuition to underprivileged children and children with learning difficulties. This will also be available as a teaching space for our tutors to use to run group sessions and recording sessions.

We base our lessons around being creative and free with learning any instruments. We encourage our tutors and students to write and create their own songs and also offer lessons to record and produce their music. We can also tutor students through the graded system usually with ABRSM or Rock School.

**Job description**

*MUSIC TUTOR, SELF-EMPLOYED ROLE, FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS, £35 PER HOUR*

I am looking for a music tutor to join my team to help take on a long waiting list of students.

The team are based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire but offer lessons around the surrounding area including Marlow, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, Chalfonts, Oxford, Henley, Downley plus online lessons and lessons in schools.

You will be paid based on an hourly rate (between £30-£40 per hour based on each lessons rate plus travel costs) and can choose your own hours/timetable that suits your lifestyle. There is also potential for working from home online with some lessons but someone who is willing and able to teach in person is required.

There will also be option to work in several schools giving you a regular work flow throughout the day followed by private lessons in the evening.

A full UK drivers license is necessary for this role as you will be required to travel to each clients home to teach privately in several locations around Buckinghamshire.

Applicants preferably will have an interest in working with children and possibly some experience but this is not required to apply.

All training will be provided for free to the successful applicant and teaching resources and books will also be provided.

You will be working on a self-employed basis contracted to my company giving you a flexible working schedule and meaning you can also carry out other jobs and work opportunities separate to the company on the side.

The successful applicant will also have access to a charity funded recording studio for their own personal use at a discounted rate and there is potential for tuition work in the studio in the near future.

If you would prefer you can wear a mask during lessons and also ask students to wear a mask. You are welcome to social distance from the students if you wish during lessons.

Work Location: One location
