The pub and location


This characterful pub has a small external courtyard to the rear, which houses the smoking solution and several picnic tables for drinking. You’ll be taking the helm of a traditional wet-led business with gaming machines that locals love for its live music, particularly SKA Bands and Karaoke. We’re looking for an operator with catering experience who can develop the food offer.


Inside, you will discover a core bar area with an inglenook fireplace, a raised area currently housing the pool table and an adjoining room to the front of the pub, ideal for small private functions. You’ll capitalise on the small external courtyard area to the rear, which houses the smoking solution and several picnic tables for drinking on a summer’s day.


The pub is ideally situated approximately a ten-minute walk from Aylesbury Waterside Theatre and a five-minute walk from Aylesbury railway station. Aylesbury was the birthplace of the Paralympic Games. The Roald Dahl children’s gallery is open on Friday and Saturday, which is well worth a visit.
