This is a busy, varied, autonomous role working within an established plastic team, and we all work together to give the patient the best service we can within the parameters that are set.

We have an established plastic team of motivated and enthusiastic people within the Surgical management team and we are looking for another like-minded colleague to join us. The position of the Skin Centre Admin post is a varied role in a very busy and demanding environment. You will provide support to a number of plastic consultant clinics and theatre lists.

This is an autonomous role, working for Plastics at Amersham Hospital, and requires closely working with Consultants and Service managers and other colleagues. Calm and efficient communication with the patients /plastic team, ensuring all duties have been followed, will ensure a positive experience for them.

It is a responsible job, but with many different facets and would suit a cheerful and organised person who enjoys communication with everyone - no two days are the same and the team are all working to the same result which is putting the patient first and giving them a positive journey through a difficult time.

- To greet patients and dealing with queries.
- To provide a comprehensive administration, booking and appointment service and ensure compliance with waiting time targets.
- To complete administration tasks and input information on to electronic record systems following trust guidelines.
- To liaise with the clinical teams to support the delivery of services across Buckinghamshire.
- To provide admin support across services in the Administration Hub as required.
- To undertake any other appropriate duties as directed by the service.
- To order and maintain stock levels
- To manage the electronic bed board of patients being admitted for surgery within the Amersham plastic surgery skin centre.
- To prepare all documentation for patients being seen within the Amersham plastic surgery centre.
