**Intro to the role**:
You will be joining the central Nexus team reporting into the Business Operations Director, and working collaboratively with our Nexus employees embedded across our agencies, our process improvement team and finance transformation team.

The purpose of this role is to act as the owner for our digital channels’ booking, reconciliation and billing processes, to ensure we have the most efficient way of working that can be standardised across all of our agencies. Another core focus of this role is to define and oversee the right model for our business, and drive automation at speed for the benefit of our people, clients and our partners.

**Key Responsibilit**ies**:
**Define & execute a** **clear model for campaign booking & financial reconciliation**

- In collaboration with GroupM and agency stakeholders, review and refine a standardised process and implement this across the UK group so all parties are aligned to a new way of working.
- Oversee the evolved operation across GroupM Nexus to ensure that consistent ways of working are deployed and adhered to.
- Continuously review and iterate the booking and financial reconcilliation processes, tools, training, systems and templates to streamline, automate and offshore to capture significant efficiency gains where possible.
- Work collaboratively with the GroupM Nexus leads, GroupM’s Operational Excellence Team and finance teams to align on direction and delivery.

**Maximise operational efficiencies through **training, automation and offshore programmes**
- Be a trusted source of expertise in digital ecosystems, buying platforms, booking and finance systems and how they should interact to advance our ways of working.
- Design an effective best-in class training programs to ensure the highest quality of delivery by teams both on and off shore to deliver booking and financial reconciliation activities on time with the highest level of accuracy.
- Drive and co-ordinate the testing and rollout of new tools (e.g. Wrike), automations e.g. (APIs) and offshoring into our UK campaign booking and finance reconciliation activities working closely with all relevant stakeholders across GroupM and our agencies understanding the key dependencies with other teams.
- Drive a culture of “fix once deploy to all”.

**Form a strong governance in place to ensure delivery of new ways of working.**
- Form & govern appropriate structures to monitor delivery to the agreed ways of working, handle effective escalation, and exceptions management across our onshore and offshore teams.
- Co-create clear accountability across the Group and collaborate with relevant stakeholders in agencies and at GroupM to drive adherence to ways of working.
- Set clear benchmarks and success metrics to show progress against key improvements identified and measure against them.

**A**bout You**:

- Experience in digital media execution / operations.
- Deep, hands on experience of the full end-to-end campaign management cycle and their financial implications.
- Comprehensive understanding of digital ecosystems, buying platforms, finance systems and their interactions.
- Self-driven and able to own both day to day challenge resolution and overall long term targets in a fast-changing environment
- Forward thinking and someone who is confident to call out or challenge in order to identify better ways of working
- Assertive yet diplomatic individual with strong stakeholder management skills delivering high levels of satisfaction
