Commercial Executive

This Commercial Executive position (known internally as a Bed Trading Executive) works closely with the hoteliers ensuring we achieve maximum load factors on our flights and a strong margin performance. Apart from looking after the Austrian market, you will also be supporting other ski destinations such us Slovenia, Switzerland, Finland or Norway securing additional beds in properties and dates where we may have sold out.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE ROLE, THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK FLUENT ENGISH AND GERMAN.
**ABOUT THE JOB**
- Ensuring that we have the right volumes of bed stock on sale to meet the requirements of our charter flight capacity.
- Working closely with Yield, Purchasing and Product teams to ensure the maximum profitability of the destination.
- Understanding the demands of our customers to ensure we have the stock that matches their requirements.
- Having regular contact with accommodation suppliers to secure additional beds and push back release dates where required.
- Reviewing any stop sales received from suppliers and challenging where we need to keep hold of beds
- Identify short and long
- term risks to our bedding position and highlighting actions required to avoid not having enough beds.
- Evaluation of each unit, resort and country to identify areas of poor financial performance and recommend remedial action.
- Provide key insights and recommended actions for Destination & Trading Meetings.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Due to the nature of the work and the communication required with suppliers, you will need to be fluent in both English and German. This language proficiency will enable you to effectively liaise with suppliers, negotiate terms, and address any concerns that may arise.
- As a vital link between the company and its suppliers, you will possess exceptional communication skills. You will be adept at conveying information clearly and concisely, fostering positive relationships with suppliers, and ensuring that all parties are aligned on goals and expectations.
- Prior experience in managing supplier relationships is essential. You will have a proven track record of developing and nurturing partnerships, resolving conflicts, and ensuring the timely fulfilment of commitments.
- A high level of attention to detail is indispensable in this position. You will be responsible for updating bed stock in the system and creating analysis reports.
- A strong commercial awareness is vital in this role. You will have an understanding of market trends, competitor analysis, and industry developments. Additionally, your creativity and forward-thinking approach will contribute to innovative solutions that drive growth and profitability.
- As a proactive problem solver, you will possess a strong and inquisitive attitude by nature. You will constantly seek opportunities to improve processes, uncover potential issues, and propose forward-thinking ideas.
