Our client a leading, reputable, and well-regarded Financial Services Membership Body is currently recruiting for a Head of Commercial Partnerships.

**Key Responsibilities**

On-going review of the current commercial, event and training estate to identify opportunities for scale and innovation creating a pipeline of actionable opportunities.

Working with the Commercial Director, colleagues across the business and senior stakeholders across the UK Finance membership to leverage, expand and realise the potential of our Training franchise.

Working with colleagues across the business to identify, develop and manage the delivery of new commercial opportunities into BAU including, appropriate project and stakeholder management discipline. This might be in respect of existing products and services,or newly conceived offerings.

Ensure financial targets are met in the short and medium terms through having a clearly articulated commercial strategy within the business plan, and to deliver against this.

Devise and deliver appropriate Account Management plans to support all commercial partnerships.

Be responsible for the success of the Digital Market Place working closely with Associate Membership and Content teams.

Management of risks within the Business Development risk register.

Drawing on intelligence from Members, senior colleagues and the market more broadly, identify and articulate new business opportunities that are additive to our current commercial offer and which will deliver demonstrable value to members and the wider industry.

Work with senior policy and business colleagues to draft the Business Case for new commercial opportunities ventures through to OpCo sign off.

Point of contact for all related marketing campaigns and assisting with the planning and delivery of such campaigns.

Undertake Commercial Delivery team wider leadership responsibilities as defined and requested by the Director, and working closely with the Principal, Content (E&T) and the Principal, Operational Delivery (E&T).

**Person Specification**

A degree or other equivalent, relevant qualification

Ability to identify commercial opportunities and work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to realise them. This is a high-profile role working within the highest levels of the banking and financial services sector.

Deep experience in building and maintaining relationships with senior industry individuals.

Demonstrable expertise in Business Development principles and practice.

Project management experience and competencies.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, together with strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to effectively build, strengthen and influence a wide range of both internal and external relationships at a senior level.

Excellent people leadership skills, with experience of shaping, motivating and developing (virtual) multi-disciplinary teams.

Ability to identify priorities, direct resource accordingly, and deliver excellent outcomes in a timely and agile fashion.

Advanced presentation skills.

Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions

Works independently, self-starter, receives mínimal guidance and has tenacity

Willingness to work flexibly, and outside of normal office hours, as part of a team

Experience of successfully managing complicated budgets, including having responsibility for revenue streams.

Experience of using CRM systems also a plus.
