**TITLE Receptionist**

**LOCATION Luton Town Centre Practice**

We are a well-established GP surgery and Urgent Treatment Centre with 12,000 registered patients who we put at the centre of everything we do. It is essential that we provide a seamless service to our patients and that their experience is of the highest quality. We are passionate about what we do, and we have an established track record that shows that we are good at what we do.

As a receptionist you will join our front of house team at the Luton Town Centre Surgery to help support the smooth running of the surgery, providing an efficient service to both our clinicians and patients. You will be the first point of contact for all visitors managing any internal and external queries working in a timely manner to respond.

The service is open Monday to Sunday, 08:00 to 20:00 and is supported by a corporate framework including HR, Finance, and IT functions.

**In this role you will**:

- Work within a team to provide an efficient reception/admin service for the clinicians and patients.
- Attend to patients at the reception desk, booking appointments and dealing with queries.
- Handling telephone calls, messages and requests.
- Scanning, matching and allocating clinical documentation relating to patients.
- Provide chaperone assistance to clinical staff when required.
- Other duties associated with the role.

We expect that you’ll already have experience of working within a customer service environment and that you are a self-motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and administrative skills.
