Steelite International is currently experiencing significant growth and is recruiting experienced pottery workers as operatives and labourers to work on the factory to help with an increase in production output.

**Hours of Work**: Monday to Friday working. Monday - Thursday 8am - 4:30pm, Friday 8am - 15:30pm

**Purpose**

To provide administration support to the Warehouse (Courier Team Picking and Despatch function) as directed by the Courier Team Co-ordinator and the Arrivals and Despatch Team Leader daily, fulfilling their specific roles when required.

Note: In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.

**Nature and Scope**

Reporting to: Warehouse Team Leader

Key relationships with:Customer Service, Global Supply, Production Planning, Warehouse Management Team & staff, Packing Team, Suppliers and Contractors

**Principal Accountabilities**

**Primary Role**
- To ensure all customer orders are dispatched with a sense of urgency and in line with the service type requested to achieve 100% KPI on all express deliveries.
- Deal with orders on the courier Routes - confirming all shipment details are correct and that the outbound dock on AX reflects this.
- Maintain your competency on all courier collection services to ensure a seamless service can be provided during periods of absence.
- Ensuring all shipments are staged and located in the correct area, using 5S.
- To ensure all shipments have the correct documentation before dispatching and that all end of day manifests have been sent to the respective courier providers.
- Manage the shipment screen so that all courier shipments are staged and loaded to enable invoicing once left.
- Liaise with Sales department and Shipping department to ensure the smooth flow of customer orders
- Investigate discrepancies that have been highlighted by Customer Services and report any findings.
- Provide solutions to any problems that have arisen to the courier Team Co-ordinator and Arrivals and Dispatch Team Leader.
- Carry out the daily booking in of any shipments on the homes market as directed by the Co-ordinator and Team Leader.
- Provide the Courier Team Co-ordinator and Arrivals and Dispatch Team Leader with regular updates highlighting any potential KPI failures.
- Provide daily figures to the Co-ordinator so that the E.O.S report can be sent on time and accurately.
- Ensure all shipments leaving outside agreed Custom Zones have the correct documentation and invoiced accordingly.
- Assist Courier Team Co-Ordinator with Invoicing where/ when required including Month Ends.
- To be compliant with all H&S regulations and that housekeeping standards are high and in line with 5S standards.
