**Job purpose**:
As a key member of the business development team, the successful applicant will support the business development managers by carrying out a variety of sales administration tasks and processing all sales-related paperwork. You will have a natural flair for writing and develop a good understanding of tender frameworks. You will be an organised self-starter and willing to develop a strong knowledge of sales processes.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Organise the planning, drafting, writing and coordinating of responses to bids
- Manage the company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Process quotes as per the company process
- Support the research of specific customers, sectors or services as directed by the Sales Manager
- Support the telemarketing function to generate new leads and follow up on submitted tenders
- Access tender portals, assist in writing tenders and manage submissions
- Monitor portals for new tender opportunities
- Ensure all written documentation relating to bids and tenders is of high quality, accurate and relevant
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to understand and meet deadlines
- Speed and accuracy in responding to quote requests and bid opportunities
- Ability to interpret, design, submit and follow up tenders
- Confident and professional written and telephone skills
- Organised, thorough and ability to plan effectively
- Confident with numeric data
**Pay and benefits**:

- Basic salary: £20,000 to £24,000
- Commission structure
- 30 days paid holiday per year, pro rata, including Bank Holidays.
- Contributory pension scheme
- Free parking

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
