The role would suit an individual that has worked within a purchase ledger role previously. You will possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently to ensure the office runs smoothly. You will have a desire toprogress within the accountancy profession and long-term my client is happy to offer on the job training, in order for you to develop and progress within the role.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Managing the purchase ledger inbox
- Dealing with account queries
- Ensuring all the invoices are ready for payment
- High volume data entry and scanning of invoices
- Dealing with all incoming post
- Processing approvals
- Ad hoc tasks to support the finance team

**Person Specification**:

- Early stages AAT studier
- It is vital you possess strong IT skills especially in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Good attention to detail
- Accuracy
- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn
- Ability to take direction, learn and roll up your sleeves in order to get the work done
- Hungry and determined to succeed

Reporting into the Senior Financial Accountant, you will play an integral part of the team. The role will evolve over time and after a probationary period, my client would be happy to support with your AAT studies.
