**Personal Assistant, Interconnectors - Warwick (flexible)**
We’re looking for an Personal Assistant to support the Commercial Director along with senior managers as they drive our mission of optimising the UJV Interconnectors portfolio to reduce consumer costs, avoid carbon and deliver value for NGV.
This role couldn’t come in at a more crucial time; we are growing the Interconnectors asset portfolio with a new interconnector due to come online this year. We’re looking for someone to truly make the team wonder how they ever operated functionally without you You’ll need to be comfortable challenging a group who are independent and show them what they’re missing.
This will start with taking control of the Director’s inbox, whipping their calendar into shape and ensuring that the most impactful activities are prioritised. This can be a very flexible role (location and hours).
**What you'll be getting up to**:
- Streamlining the day to day life of the Commercial Director. Optimising where time is spent so they can continue leading the Commercial, Customer and Regulation (CCR) team to achieve its ambitious goals.
- Making sure the team’s day runs as smoothly as possible. You’ll be the gatekeeper of their inbox and diary; figuring out whether a meeting is worth going to, re-prioritising to make room for what’s urgent, and what to say no to all together
- Taking comprehensive notes, keeping on top of actions and holding the Director and the managers to account to keep CCR moving forward.
- Preparing the Commercial Director ahead of any meetings, ensuring logistics are sorted and that there are as few surprises as possible.
- Ensuring that expenses, purchase requests, recruitment admin, etc. are all managed efficiently.
- This role plays a major part in overall team engagement, driving the Director's presence in & outside of the office, ensuring team meetings, development and 121s are always prioritised.
- Becoming the rocket-fuel that keeps CCR moving; coordinating logistics for meetings, events, offsites etc. making sure the team are briefed, and any preparation is done in advance.
- Supporting CCR more broadly with events, ad-hoc project work, IT issues and any other initiatives that energise you.
**About You**:
- You have proven experience as an PA supporting a leader and their team in a fast moving commercial environment.
- You're great at building strong relationships across all levels of an organisation quickly (you'd have no trouble challenging or pushing back at all levels to get your job done).
- You genuinely thrive in chaos - plate spinning comes naturally to you, and you’re able to prioritise your own workload while dealing with curveballs that come your way.
- You consider yourself to be a Mystic Meg or Yoda in the making - you predict and anticipate what the team need before they ask.
- You're a natural influencer and effective communicator, you know how to treat everyone like a customer and instil trust in everyone you interact with.
- You can spot a typo a mile off, you pride yourself on your attention to detail.
- You love people and are able to develop great relationships and support a broad team.
- You want a manager who will always support you, be completely open and help you drive your development.
