**Your New Role**

Are you a water market specialist looking for your next role? Are you a proactive industry expert? We are seeking an accomplished individual to act as a water specialist for our water offering.

Reporting into the Group Product Owner, you will be responsible for keeping abreast of industry changes and their impact to group. Maintain a knowledge with relevant stakeholders and interacting with customers for complex product support.

You will delight customers by informing service requirements for our water offering across customer sectors, developing effective supplier relationships, and delivering competitive and accurate pricing for the group.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- You will support product & pricing coverage for the group at all times
- Ensure all processes relating to the water product are followed and available to the teams utilising them
- You will act as a specialist for the group, that can be accessed by internal and (at times) external customers where relevant
- Support maintenance of a knowledge base for use by the group, and provide proactive thought leadership and product insights through regular ‘did you know’ updates
- Feed into and help develop growth through marketing campaigns and ongoing product/service development
- Act as a complex query escalation point, liaising with suppliers, customers & internal functions as necessary
- Support new business activity to facilitate new wins (presentation, visits, calls or tender information)
- Support renewal activity to facilitate customer retention or cross-sell opportunities
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, where required, on any tendering issues which may arise for our customers, ensuring any obstacles or challenges are communicated to them to escalated where necessary;
- Support effective and commercially beneficial relationships with suppliers, maintaining a close network in conjunction with the product owner
- Support adherence to processes relating to the water product are documented and available to the teams utilising them
- Resolve queries within the remit of your expertise and competence, escalating or referring to a colleague or line manager where appropriate;
- Feed in water product owner to help ensure cohesive and transparent working practices remain ‘fit for purpose’ following industry or other change

**Requirements**:
**Essential Criteria**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience within the de-regulated water markets (Scotland or England)
- Strong numeracy skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills with extensive practical experience
