Job Location: We are currently seeking permanent Product & Process Specialists to join our Bio-Resource division.

Employment Type: Permanent. Our operations run continuously throughout the year. The role involves a commitment of 37 hours per week on a rotating 7-day schedule, including weekend shifts. After comprehensive training, participation in an out-of-hours emergency response rota will be required.

Your Role:

As a Product & Process Specialist, you will be tasked with safely executing operational and maintenance duties essential for the daily functioning of wastewater treatment facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting routine manual and technical tasks, including operational procedures, instrument calibration, and maintenance checks.
  • Prioritizing and managing workload effectively based on available resources.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to Health and Safety protocols and managing contractors.
  • Utilizing both manual and IT-based process information to enhance operational efficiency and reduce treatment costs.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical processes, with a focus on problem-solving and process enhancement.
  • Experience in technical and manual tasks within a process-oriented industry is preferred.
  • Capability to manage workload independently and proactively address site-related issues.
  • Comfortable working in teams and proficient with various IT systems.
  • Physical capability to perform manual handling, work at heights, and manage raw sewage.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, with successful candidates required to meet strict medical criteria.
  • A valid driving license with no more than six penalty points is essential.
