If you have experience of working therapeutically with young people aged 5 to 18 years old, then Fortalice wants to hear from you**

**Sessional Child Therapist**

**Approximately 3 to 4 sessions per week**

**£27.50 per session (hour) on a self-employed basis if qualified. Expenses only will be paid if working towards qualification.**

**Background Information**

Fortalice was established in 1977 to provide emergency accommodation and support for women and children experiencing domestic abuse within their own homes.

The project has expanded over the years and now provides a diverse range of services for adults, families, children and young people within both Refuge and Outreach Support Centre. A specialist children and young people's service supports children of all ages with issues around trauma, domestic abuse or relationship issues.

**Job description**:

- The role will require knowledge of working with complex cases and safeguarding.
- The role will require the provision of therapy for young people with moderate to complex emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties.

**Qualifications**
- Either qualified as an adult therapist and working towards qualification with young people or qualified in working with young people.

**Experience**
- Experience in working in the field of Domestic Abuse with young people would be an advantage.
- You must be registered with a governing body such as BACP.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 4 per week
