Working with both our internal and external comms teams We are looking for a **Marketing Insights and Analytics Manager** to elevate our customer understanding and to provide insight and analysis to advise the marketing and communications team strategy and help improve our campaigns. Reporting to the Head of Brand and Marketing this role will be crucial to help ensure the team are making micro and macro data led decisions.

Working across the whole business, you will need to ensure you are working within the team’s principles with a dynamic and challenging approach.

**EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW**

In this newly created role, initially on a 12-month contract, you will be utilising your extensive customer insight and analysis experience, we will be looking for you to have a strong focus on behavioural understanding of our customers, utilising demographic and behavioural data to provide insight for targeted campaigns.

We will be looking for you to create a central data reporting system that combines multiple and disparate data sources to develop a 360-degree view of Severn Trent’s customers to enhance our decision making and to deliver targeted data led decisions which will improve our customer experience performance. Along this we will look for you to develop and implement new customer profiles through analysing customer data and ACORN data to drive targeted activity for our regional model and societal strategy.

Some of the key accountabilities for the role include:
- Evaluate, utilise and leverage data collected from multiple data sources.
- Provide analytical insight and recommendations by examining the best way to utilise data that can impact business strategy and add value, ensuring the accuracy and validity of data and findings.
- Improve our behavioural change approach by interrogating the data and building triggers or identify opportunities for improvements e.g., identifying patterns of blockage incidences relating to hotspots and different acorn groups
- To be able to measure baseline operational data before campaigns and operational data following and provide insight into campaign performance.

We’ll be looking for you to have the ability to analyse data, think flexibly, identify issues, and develop options that improve our customers experience and use findings to influence senior stakeholders. You’ll need a deep interest and experience in data analysis, statistics and trends and applied knowledge of measurement.
