**Gen2** are looking for a **Internal Quality Assurer** to join their team based in **Workington** You will be working on a **full-time, permanent** **basis** and in return, you will receive a **competitive salary of £34,000-£38,00**0** per annum.**

**The Internal Quality Assurer role**:
The Gen2 Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) will support the Quality Manager by ensuring the effective delivery and quality assurance of all standards and qualifications within their remit to ensure full compliance with the requirements of external bodies such as Awarding Organisations (Inc HE) institutions), EPAO’s and Ofqual. Ensure that Gen2 maintain high quality delivery as defined by the internal and external quality standards and processes and support the team in developing a culture of innovation and continuous quality improvement, whilst supporting the high-quality delivery of our apprenticeship and training provision, leading on improvement in the quality assurance process and curriculum development. This role requires someone who strives to promote, uphold and demonstrate through personal example, and to manage the development and delivery of all aspects of quality improvement including achieving an integrated and customer focussed quality support function.

**Skills and attributes, we’re looking for in our Internal Quality Assurer**:

- Must have recent and relevant experience in a quality position in the Further Education (FE) or skills sector particularly in work-based learning
- Minimum level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Educated to minimum level 4 IQA qualification
- The ability to use a range of software packages and bespoke software such as e-portfolio and VLE system(s) such as OneFile, Moodle etc
- Relevant teaching, assessment and quality assurance qualifications appropriate to the role
