**About the job**:
**Salary: £47,420 - £50,512 a year plus £3,203 car benefit allowance**
**Hours per week: 37**

Our department are looking for someone who is able to lead on the implementation of new ITSM tooling for the Technology service, with the view of managing the day-to-day service once transitioned as well as providing first line technical support to internal staff.

You will be expected to accountable for the pro-active continuous improvement of operational processes and practices, as well as providing operational support as a member of the IT Service Desk.

**About you**:
We are looking for someone who is able to quickly assess situations, draw conclusions and initiate actions in a busy and sometimes pressurised environment as well as be able to analyse data to identify and implement improvements to operations.

You’ll have the opportunity to develop on your existing skills by building successful relationships with existing teams and 3rd parties in the planning and implementation of a new service desk for Luton.

We do ask that you are at least ITIL3 Certified (Expert level or higher).

Applicants for this role will need to be able to work flexibly with working hours as will be on a rota basis between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday as well as able to take Ownership of critical service and senior stakeholder issues.

You will also be providing effective leadership through influencing, motivating and coaching people to achieve excellence.
