**Our prestigious, London based professional services client requires a brand new HR Officer on a permanent or a Fixed Term basis. Reporting to the Director of People & Transformation, you will be a strong HR generalist focusing on operational workand available to work on-site in central London 1 -2 days per week. Hitting the ground running, you will also be comfortable dealing with HR/recruitment admin, policy/system updates & review.**
Reporting to the Director of People OD and Transformation, the HR Officer is responsible for high quality operational and strategic administrative and advisory service across the organisation.
As a generalist the post holder is responsible for carrying out a broad range of generalist HR duties and maximising the contribution of the People and OD Team to drive forward successful facilitation of the People Strategy.
A key priority for this role is ensuring that the People and OD Team is a credible and effective business partner and supports the facilitation of a wide range of People processes and activities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Administration, HR Systems Administration and Reporting Management Information (MI)
Responsible for overall general employee life-cycle administration and reporting in a timely manner, ranging from the new starter process to the leavers process including exit interviews.
Processing contractual changes, appraisals, pay review documents, training activities employee relations and disputes, management of annual leave requests, and extraction of diversity information at recruitment stage to ensure that HR reports are frequentlyupdate in for Management Board etc.
Responsible for dealing with requests related to eye test, flu jabs, etc.; self-service issues including password resets or changes in personal circumstances etc. to ensure continued accuracy including providing third-party providers with relevant information.
Responsible for the accurate maintenance, updating and auditing of manual and electronic people related records, to ensure accurate reporting of all aspects of people data including changes in Headcount.
- Application of people related policies and process JD HR Officer
Responsible for recruitment, welfare and support, ensuring all internal processes are complied with.
Working closely with managers, employees, members and pupils to implement policies and procedures; whilst identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
Monitoring employee relations case-by-case basis; including monitoring absence, capability, and performance; disciplinary and grievances; etc. and escalating to the colleagues in the People Team where appropriate.
Arranging relevant references and checks
Act as an advocate for the People team, attend inter-departmental team meetings etc.
- Stakeholder Engagement
Facilitate effective conversations within the People & Organisational Development team and support the delivery of the People Strategy, upholding KPIs
Support the People and OD Team when managing new projects whilst managing organisational and people change activities.
Establish and maintain strong proactive internal and external stakeholder relationships
Liaise with external service providers to implement changes in benefits, pensions contributions; health benefits, employee self-service issues etc. to ensure continued accuracy whilst providing third-party providers with relevant information.
- Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Career Development
Ensuring that all recruitment activities are tracked and managed on a timely and effective basis whilst facilitating the recruitment and retention of high-calibre people.
Assist Managers with development and review of Job Descriptions, supporting drafting and placing recruitment adverts on website and social media
Act as the main point of contact for recruitment, liaising with recruitment agencies
Responsible for onboarding and integration and drafting feedback for unsuccessful applicants
Collate annual reviews and ongoing supervision records, whilst escalating issues and concerns to ensure managers actively manage and deal with any issues or concerns.
Have oversight of learning or eLearning initiatives to ensure effective reporting on take up and effectiveness of learning.

Support the management team to ensure obligations for the Health, Safety and Security all employees and relevant stakeholders.
