**Job Description: Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)**:
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) looking for a temporary opportunity that allows you to make a positive impact in the field of mental health? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Band 5 RMN with the Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

At the Airedale Centre for Mental Health, located within the Airedale General Hospital in Steeton, West Yorkshire, we provide specialized care and support to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties. As a Band 5 RMN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our service users, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their stay with us.

Your temporary assignment will begin on the 22nd of February 2024 and end on the 23rd of February 2024. You will be working night shifts, with the start time at 19:30:00 and the end time at 08:00:00. As a temporary staff member, you will be compensated with a competitive payment rate of £312.50 per shift, which will be paid via an umbrella company.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Assessing and evaluating the mental health needs of service users, utilizing your expertise in mental health nursing to formulate effective care plans.
- Providing direct nursing care and support to individuals, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being is maintained at all times.
- Administering medications as prescribed, while adhering to proper procedures and guidelines.
- Implementing therapeutic interventions and activities to promote positive mental health and recovery.
- Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic care is provided.
- Monitoring and reporting any changes or deterioration in service users' conditions, escalating concerns as necessary.
- Offering support and advice to families and carers, promoting their involvement in the care planning process.

To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with service users, their families, and colleagues. Your ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions will be crucial in maintaining a safe environment for all.

To be eligible for this position, you must have a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) and relevant experience working in a mental health setting. We welcome both newly qualified and experienced RMNs to apply.
