**MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE**

We are a private family run company established in the late 1960s with an extensive portfolio of residential and commercial properties located within 25 miles of our Epsom base.

We are looking for an experienced individual to work as part of a team to provide an effective repair and basic handyperson service to all of our residential and occasionally commercial properties.

Hours 9:00am - 5:30pm, Mon-Fri

Contract: Permanent

Required:
Excellent time management and organisational skills as you will be expected to efficiently complete a number of tasks each day.

Must have a basic knowledge with all types of property maintenance work to include carpentry, painting, decorating, plumbing. Also, must have the ability to lift and carry heavy loads.

The ability to be flexible and work as a member of a small team is essential as is a clean driving licence.

Must be client facing as you will be liaising with tenants directly on a daily basis.

The Role:
Repair and property maintenance

To carry out an assigned list of maintenance jobs on an urgent or day to day basis

Provide assistance to external contractors on large or complicated jobs when required

To order, collect and repair materials/equipment as required to carry out repair works

To record tasks completed during the day; ensuring the sheet is filled out accurately and noting any other works that need attention

Maintaining the portfolio of the company; including painting and decorating properties

Salary according to age and experience

Paid holiday 28 days including Bank Holidays pro rata
