Work where you want to live with excellent quality of life in North Wales, one of the most beautiful parts of the United Kingdom.
Exciting opportunities to pursue your career in Psychiatry with excellent support from the local Mental Health Division in North Wales. We will support study leave and help you towards building your e-portfolio with a view to get on to psychiatry core training rotations. A number of our Junior Clinical Fellow Doctors have been successful in entering core training rotations in psychiatry in the recent years.
Applications are invited for the posts of LAS CT 1/2/3 level doctors and Junior Clinical Fellows in Acute Care, General Adult and Old Age Psychiatry in North Wales.
Base will depend upon service needs across the three main inpatient units in Wrexham, Bodelwyddan and Bangor. Role may require travel between sites therefore the ability to drive would be advantageous.
The LAS CT posts are the unfilled posts from the Wales Deanery Core Psychiatric Rotation from North Wales. Junior Clinical Fellow posts are new posts created within the Health Board for purposes of service provision but they have similar opportunities to attend teaching, clinical supervision, support and building e -portfolio. The post holders will participate in an on call rota for each site they will be based in.
All the posts start with immediate effect. Applications from International Medical Graduates who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
